GBS type piston rod (shaft) seals are lip-shaped seals with two sealing lips and a tight external fit. Due to the extra lubricant between the two lips, dry friction and wear are prevented. In certain special cases, this type of seal can even replace seals for ordinary rubber or fabric-reinforced rubber that cannot meet the required physical properties in various applications.
