The GBD type piston rod seal is a refined development of lip seals. It features two sealing lips and a highly durable extreme pressure-resistant retaining ring. Due to the action of the two sealing lips, additional lubrication is maintained in the sealing gap, preventing dry friction and wear, thus extending the seal's service life. Under certain conditions, satisfactory sealing performance can only be achieved with two seals installed in their respective grooves, one in front and one behind. This two-lip seal can replace expensive tandem seals.

Material: XA-6095 is an A95 high-temperature resistant polyurethane composite material; the O-ring is made of 70A NBR material.
Installation: This type of seal should have axial clearance. To avoid damage to the sealing lip, do not pull the seal on sharp edges during installation.
